Your chances of success in anything you choose to do is measured by your belief in yourself. It’s not who you are that holds you back, it’s who you think you’re not. Where you are from, or circumstances from your past, cannot hold you back unless you choose to allow them to, and many people do just that. I’ve heard so many people talk about how poor they were growing up, and have adopted what I call a poor mentality which they have stamped on themselves, not allowing them to move forward to better themselves. Growing up poor does not keep you from being successful, you do. If you want to take some classes, If you want to get that degree that you’ve been putting off, if you want to learn to play an instrument, if you want to get a better job, if you want to start a new hobby, or if you want to just spend your time not doing much of anything, the choice is yours. Don’t put yourself in a situation where years from now you find yourself reflecting on what you might have been or what could have been. Life is what we make it, always has been, always will be.
