I firmly believe that universal forces are always at work that pulls us inexorably toward the deserving results of our thoughts and actions. When things in your life are not going well for you, pay close attention to the things you’ve been thinking, saying, and doing; especially, as these things pertain to others.
We must be careful not to ruin a good today by thinking about a bad yesterday. Learn to let things go for your sake. If you put a hot rock in your hand, it will continue to burn you until you decide to drop it, many people should learn to drop the rock; something that should occur without much thought.
Know that twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the things you did do. Every minute that you allow yourself to be angry or upset, is a full minute of happiness you’ll never get back. Life is short, count your blessings, learn to forgive quickly and hold no bitterness, resentment, or grudges towards others, not for the sake of the person who has wronged you in any way, but for your sake; it keeps them from continuing to hurt your heart and robbing you of your joy.
Proverb 23:7 reminds us that as a man thinks in his heart, so is he. When you make the decision each day not to complain, not to criticize, not to judge or speak ill of others, and make it a priority to choose positive thoughts, your world will change. All that a person achieves or fail to achieve is the direct result of their own thoughts.
A person’s weakness and strength, purity and impurity, are their own and not another person’s. They can only be altered by the individual, but unfortunately, many people allow themselves to be influenced by negative people who will have a problem for every solution. While you can’t control someone’s negative behavior, you can control how long you participate in it. The less you respond to negative people, the more peaceful your life will become.
Surround yourself with dreamers, doers, believers, and thinkers, but most of all surround yourself with those who see greatness within you, even when you may sometimes don’t see it in yourself.
Contrary to what many may believe, a person’s sufferings and happiness are evolved from within, and has nothing to do with another person. If you want to live a happy life, tie it to a goal, not to people or things.
